The Drop-In-Center provides services beginning with the morning meal from 8.30 to 10:15 am, Monday through Saturday.  We serve an average of 176 men, women and children everyday.  The meal we serve may be eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit and coffee, or it may be chicken cordon blu  with all the trimmings. The menu is dependent on the donations we receive.  Second Helping, a program of The Maryland Food Bank, delivers food prepared in excess of need by hotels, caterers and others; these donations make gourmet meals a possibility. Clients may make business phone calls during the early hours, to inquire about work, or to make appointments. After everyone in line has been served, the dining room is prepared for the remainder of the program and of the day.
