Brazosport Cares Food Pantry serves new and existing clients and accepts donations. Located at 916 N. Gulf Blvd, Freeport, TX 77541, is dedicated to feeding Brazosport's hungry through food distribution, education, collaboration, and advocacy. Open Tues & Thurs mornings 9:00 - 11:30 am. Also the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings from 4 PM to 6 PM. Also, the last Saturday morning of each month from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. |

Because No One Should Face The Day HungryBrazosport Cares' mission is to feed Brazoria County's hungry by distributing food, educating, collaboration and advocacy. Brazosport Cares assisted more than 8,200 individuals in 2019. Fully 20% of individuals in the community experience food insecurity.Brazosport Cares isn't just a Freeport Texas, food pantry, but they offer a number of programs such as backpacks in BISD, Free Farmers Markets, educational classes such as nutrition. Inspiring the community into action and ending hunger, Brazosport Cares has a Mythbusters series. During Hunger Action Month, each week in September they explore 4 common "myths" and how the community can bust them, together. Find more on this at their Facebook page. |
