The Interfaith Sanctuary

The Interfaith Sancturary, located in Boise, is an overnight shelter availible to both families and singles. With an average of 130-160 guests per night, they are the largest shelter in Idaho.

Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services offers both shelter and supportive services for men, women, and families with children. They open at 6:00 pm every night and close at 7:00 am (Sundays - 8:00 am). Individuals seeking shelter can arrive at 6:00 pm. No pre-registration or referrals are necessary.

The shelter is located at 1620 W. River Street (just past the skatepark on 16th before the River Street light. Entrance is on Cooper Court behind Corpus Christi Day Shelter.

The caring folks at Interfaith Sanctuary Housing Services are working together to serve families and individuals experiencing homelessness. This sanctuary can house more than 150 people each night. They offer supportive services that can help with improved well being, self sufficiency, and permanent housing acquisition.
