- Loaves & Fishes Dining Room – Loaves &
Fishes is a free lunch program for anyone in need. Open Monday through
Friday from 11:30 – 12:45 at the corner of Elmwood and Lafayette
Avenues, the program serves an average of 32,000 meals per year. It is
also a point of entry for emergency services providing referrals and
assistance to individuals and families not sure where to turn in times
of crisis.
- Potter’s Pantry & Family Resource Center – The
Potter’s Pantry provides an emergency supply of groceries to families in
need living in the 14213 ZIP code. The pantry is open Saturdays from
10:00 – 2:00. Clients do not need referrals. In addition the pantry
provides information about applying for food stamps, registering for
head Start, signing up for Child Health Plus and other services
available to individuals and families in need.
