Long Waiting List For Public Housing In Washington D.C.
	Poor families, in Washington D.C., who have applied for housing assistance vouchers will actually have to wait for years and for some, decades. Now, the Housing Authority (DCHA) is thinking about closing the waiting list for vouchers and the timing couldn't be worse. Last year over 11,000 families applied and almost half of them were homeless
